Week 5

In the last class we learned about the different uses of the gerund ING, Because it is not only used in the present continuous, but also in the following cases:
1. When there are 2 verbs and one of them is like, love, prefer and hate
2. When in sentence the subject is the action
3. When the verb is used as an adjective
4. When the verb is a noun

in this week we continued with the unit 11, about the Wh-questions: What, Where, When, Why, Which, Whose, How long (time), How often (frequency) and How far (distance). We then did a quiz about compartives and superlatives and finally learned about imperatives and its categories: Give a direct order, Give instructions, Make an invitation, On signals and notices and Friendly informal advice.
